B&MRRHS To Receive Grant for No. 410

Lowell, April 21, 2016 -- The Mystic Valley Railway Society has selected the Boston and Maine Railroad Historical Society to receive its W. Russell Rylko Award.

The award of $3,000, honoring the founding president of MVRS,  will be used by B&MRRHS for continuing restoration of the 410 cab. The 410 Project is chaired by Jim Nigzus who has been part of the 410 crew since its inception in 1992. The application for the grant was written by B&MRRHS Immediate Past President Carl Byron.

The award will be presented at the MVRS annual meeting on May 7, at the Holiday Inn in Dedham, Mass.
